Cause of Death: DCM (Dilated Cardiomyopathy)
Mattera broke our hearts when he died of DCM at the young age of 3. We had bred him once and had 2 lovely bitch offspring we were showing.  After he died, we retired the girls and neither of them were bred - therefore, DCM ended with him - we would not risk our young breeding program for any reasons.  So, we started over..........

I turned around...
and you were grown...

I turned around again ...
and you were gone.

Even though you're gone now I will always be grateful you were mine...
You showed me how to love,
how my world could be full of rainbows.
Now you're gone and I am alone
and yes I cry and miss you so much -
I never thought you would leave me this soon.
But I thank the Lord above for sending you to me even for a short time - and as I go on -
I can close my eyes - and we will be together again in yesterday.

I miss you sweetcheeks...

always and forever in our hearts - until we play with you again one day,
mommies Kim and Zee

Romans 8:18-22
"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope.  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now."

"We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own, live within a fragile circle, easily and often breached.  Unable to accept it's awful gaps, we still would live no other way.  We accept memory as the only certain immortality, never fully understanding the necessary plan."
